Don’t tell me . . . you never heard of Naked Wines? We hadn’t either; but now we’ve got a dozen bottles we’d never heard of. Stay tuned.

Judy sprang for one of those Groupon deals I shudder about. $160 worth of a dozen wines we’d never heard of? Well, we have them, at a cost to ourselves of about $60. Now we’ll try one every once in a while. If I don’t write about some of them, it will be because I didn’t like them. You’ll read my comments if in fact I think you’d be glad to know.

To keep things interesting, I’ll tell you what little we already know about them. So at some point in the future, you can figure out whether there were any that didn’t seem like a $15 to $20 value to me, since you have the whole list.

I haven’t learned much from their website www.nakedwines.com but evidently they provide venture capital and perhaps other encouragements, functioning as a super-negociant. As I said, stay tuned. But don’t hold your breath. — Bob Cramer, The Fearless Taster.
